For a beginner with digital cameras, though, its features are quite difficult for the average beginning user to fathom. The manual does list most of the adjustable features, but not all. Cheap Price, get’s the job done with what I need it for. (taking photos of things to sell on auction)

When using the flash it takes a good 5-7 seconds to recharge the flash between shots. Very very very slow camera. I know it’s 3.2 but the picture quality in dark situations isn’t very good. The lag time between pressing the shutter button to it actually snapping a photo is a few seconds. Definitely not good for action shots, very blurry.

The Argus DC3185 actually uses the “USB mass-storage device”, so you can drag and drop files to it just like a pro camera. Now, keep in mind, most of these cheap 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 cameras do not use the “USB Mass Storage Interface.” Instead, you will have to open up a special program that comes with the camera in order to download the pictures. I assume the main reason behind this is that since they also function as web-cams, they need to use a different driver architechture to allow that. The solution here is that you have to go into a menu to specify the USB behavior. You can change between the storage driver or a webcam driver.

You can transfer the image easily and fast because this is Windows Compatible. Just plug in the USB cable to transfer you photo’s directly into your computer.
