BenQ DC E820

benq-dc-e820.jpgThe E820 also features a face-tracking function and comes embedded with creative photo frames for photo decoration.

Compared to E720, it has a new movie size: 720 x 400 (16:9) at 30 fps, higher ISO settings: 800 and 1000, the rest of the settings remaining the same for the new 8MP camera. What I like most about both of them is the manual shooting mode. It’s hard to find such a slim and stylish compact camera equipped with manual shooting options.

BenQ E820 digital compact camera is bundled with 6MB built-in memory and is Secure Digital card compatible, which is the cheapest and most reliable memory storage, easy to replace any time. Also, it supports PictBridge function which provides direct printing via any PictBridge-enabled printer.

The BenQ E820 features 10 sets of unique photo frames that allows you to create interesting effects with your images. The optical zoom in movie mode allows you to zoom in and out for a sharp and clear view during the video recording. You will no longer be troubled by those blurred photos caused by unexpected hand shaking or by the dark environment. The new BenQ E820 comes with High ISO 1200 in portrait and Shake-Free function that help you to grasp sharp and clear images anytime and everywhere.

Altec Lansing FX5051

The metal bases, holding the speakers up from a single stud in the rear are well designed, with four long rubber strips underneath each one to prevent slipping across the desk. Despite the stud in the rear, routing cables from the backs of the satellites is incredibly easy thanks to [...]

Creative Gigaworks G500
19 Mar 2010
Within the computer space, speaker technology has developed in leaps and bounds over recent years with companies like Creative, Logitech and formerly Videologic producing speakers that have gained respect, albeit grudgingly, from audio professionals. After all, having a sound card with the processing power of a nuclear station counts for [...]

Hercules XPS 5.1 70
19 Mar 2010
Hercules’ XPS 5.1 70 has a silvery plastic finish that looks a little tacky. At least the low-profile centre speaker fits neatly under a monitor. A solitary bass knob on the back of the subwoofer is the only means of tone control, while a volume knob and headphone socket are integrated into the right satellite. With a [...]
